Learn the basics of gem cutting by making your own cabochon. You will use lapidary saws to create slabs and preforms. Then you will grind and polish them into finished gemstones as shown above. No prior experience is required. The class is open to anyone 18 years or older. This class is a prerequisite for joining the Clearwater Lapidary Club.
TLS offers classes to adults, at least 18 years of age, interested in pursuing lapidary, jewelry, glass flame-working, and related arts and sciences. Most classes are ten weeks, one two-hour class per week.
